Our founder's story
Two wrongs don't make a right.
"Teenage Mothers Matters is not just a movement that came to me overnight. It was born out of a careful observation, and deep emphaty for girls my age whose dreams and aspirations were disrupted by teenage prgnancy.
Many of these young mothers become invisible, burying their dreams under the weight of constamt criticism, harrassment, low self esteem, financial hardship, and lack of support from their families and society. As a result, they expririence isolation and withdrawal from a society that should instead promote acceptance, inclusion, and social cohesion.
Teenage Mothers Matters seeks to bridge the gap between teenage mothers and society by creating awareness, sharing real-life expierences, and providing impactful education about teenage pregnancy - how it occours, and how it can be prevented.
Our goal is not to encourage teenage pregnancy but to foster understanding, reduce stigma, and inspire compassion while educatiing young people to make informed choices that protect the future."
